On Sunday, Sept. 24, at 3 p.m., the Orange County Historical Society will hold a picnic at the Bloomsbury Manor property at 11010 Bloomsbury Road (behind Booster Park). Bring your own lawn chair and picnic, and hear a presentation on the history of one of Orange County's most notable historic properties. This property was once owned by James Taylor II, ancestor of two U.S. presidents (James Madison and Zachary Taylor).
This picnic presentation is open to members of the Historical Society and friends. In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be cancelled. For more information, visit the Orange County Historical Society website at www.orangecovahist.org or their Facebook page here.
